Taming the tide on a Sun ride- well, that could be the punch line for the world’s largest solar boat that is likely to set on sail in April 2011.
The solar boat "Planet Solar" is fixed on a mooring following its launch and christening at the HDW shipyard in Kiel March 31, 2010. The largest solar boat in the world was build by the shipyard of Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel.
